ITINERARY

Day 1

Transfer from Huaraz at 8:00 am in private transportation to Mancos, then to Musho, where the donkeys and the muleteer will be waiting for us to transfer the equipment to the Huascaran refuge, this day we will climb for 7 hours approximately.

Day 2

Rest at the refuge.

Day 3

Ascent from the refuge at 4:00 am to camp 2 in a climb of approximately 5 hours. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Departure from camp 2 at 12:00 pm to the south summit of Nevado Huascaran in a climb of 9 hours approximately, from where we can appreciate all the splendor of the Cordillera Blanca. Then we start the descent of 3 hours to camp 2 where we will have dinner and rest.

Day 5

Departure from camp 2 at 6:00 am to Huascaran refuge where we can have dinner and rest.

Day 6

Departure from the Refuge at 7:00 am to Musho where transportation awaits us for transfer to the city of Huaraz.

  • Thermal clothing.
  • Waterproof clothing.

TO KEEP IN MIND:

  • The separation of dates for the expedition is made with the deposit of 50% of the total amount.
  • In case of non-attendance or late arrival there will be no refund of the deposit.
  • The itinerary may vary slightly, depending on external conditions such as rain, roads under maintenance and the like.
  • Any special health conditions such as diabetes, gastric or cardiac problems or recent surgical procedures must be reported prior to the expedition along with a medical information sheet.
  • The porters only carry common camping equipment, for carrying personal items the payment of the extra porter will be the responsibility of the client.
