Day 1: Mendoza - Horcones - Confluence Camp

Departure in private transport from Mendoza to Horcones (2800 m), in a trip of approximately 4 hours. Once there we start trekking to the confluence camp (3368 m), in a walk of approximately 3 hours. After being installed in the camp we will have dinner and rest for the next day.

Day 2: Confluencia Camp - Plaza Francia - Confluencia Camp

After experiencing a night at altitude we will hike for approximately 4 hours to the Plaza Francia camp (4200 m), from where we can appreciate the south face of Aconcagua (the largest ice wall in America with 3000 meters). After enjoying the view and taking pictures we return to the confluence camp for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Confluence Camp

Rest and acclimatization day.

Day 4: Confluence Camp - Plaza De Mulas Base Camp

At 3:00 in the morning we start the trek to Plaza de mulas camp (4260 m), this way we will avoid the rising of the river due to the thawing of the snow, we will walk for 8 hours approximately, once there we will have dinner and rest.

Day 5: Plaza De Mulas Base Camp

Acclimatization day in Plaza de Mulas.

Day 6: Plaza de Mulas Base Camp - Canada Camp

After breakfast we head to Canada camp (4910 m), where we start our adventure in a more autonomous and personalized way, because we will have a camp only with our guide. This day the hike is approximately 4 hours. Once installed in the camp we will have dinner and rest.

Day 7: Canada Camp - Condor's Nest Camp - Plaza De Mulas Base Camp

From camp canada we make an acclimatization ascent to Nido de condores camp (5400 m), after a prudential time there we descend again to Plaza de Mulas camp where we will have dinner and rest.

Day 8: Plaza De Mulas Base Camp

Rest and acclimatization.

Day 9: plaza de mulas base camp - nido de condores camp

From Plaza de Mulas base camp we start the ascent to Nido de Condores camp, where we will have dinner and rest.

Day 10: Camp Nido De Condores - Camp Cólera

After breakfast we start the hike from Nido de condores to Cólera camp (5970 m). The hike is approximately 4 hours. Once at the camp we will have dinner and rest for the next day's summit attempt.

Day 11: Colera Camp - Summit - Colera Camp

At approximately 2:00 am we start the attempt to the summit of Aconcagua in a hike of approximately 8 hours. At the summit we will enjoy the view that the highest point of the continent offers us, we will take some pictures and then we will start the descent to the Colera camp, where we will have dinner and rest.

Day 12: Colera Camp - Plaza De Mulas Base Camp

After breakfast we continue our descent from the Colera camp to the Plaza de mulas camp where we will have dinner and rest.

Day 13: Plaza De Mulas Base Camp - Mendoza

After breakfast we continue the descent to Horcones, where private transportation will be waiting to take us back to Mendoza.

  • The reservation of dates for the expedition is made with the deposit of 50% of the total amount. The remaining amount must be made one month before the expedition.
  • Once the deposit has been made, you may cancel your participation 15 days before the event with a 50% surcharge for administrative expenses, otherwise the refund will not be possible.
  • In case of non-attendance or late arrival there will be no refund of the deposit.
  • The itinerary may vary slightly, depending on external conditions such as rain, roads under maintenance and the like.
  • In case of a change in the itinerary at the client's request, the client will be responsible for the additional costs.
  • Personal belongings, camping equipment, sleeping bag and sleeping mat must be carried by each person during the whole expedition.
  • The service of porters is not included, in case of needing one you must inform it beforehand, the rates of the same ones vary according to the route and the weight that they will carry.
  • Mules will not carry more than 20 kilos.
  • To enter the park it will be necessary to present a covid-19 test with a negative result no older than 72 hours, a medical certificate of good health and a complete vaccination schedule (see vaccines approved by the national government).
